A phone consultation includes a 15 minute conversation discussing concerns and goals for your child’s communication or feeding/swallowing skills and scheduling an initial evaluation if appropriate.

Each evaluation includes a 45-60 minute session where our therapist will incorporate standardized assessment, informal assessment, and clinical observations to tailor an individualized plan of care. Prior to initiating this plan of care, the therapist and parent/guardian will meet one-on-one to review and answer any questions. The parent education session is included in the cost of the evaluation.

If you have an evaluation from a different facility, we may be able to utilize it. It must be completed within the last 6 months by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Taking outside evaluations is up to the discretion of Coastal Grove Therapy.

A 60 minute treatment session includes 50-55 minutes of direct treatment time and 5-10 minutes of parent/caregiver education at the end of the scheduled session time.

A 45 minute treatment session includes 35-40 minutes of direct treatment time and 5-10 minutes of parent/caregiver education at the end of the scheduled session time.

A 30 minute treatment session includes 25 minutes of direct treatment time and 5 minutes of parent/caregiver education at the end of the scheduled session time.

Looking for information on how to enrich your child’s speech and language growth in the home setting? Try one of our parent coaching sessions. Our therapist will meet with you for 30-45 minutes in a teletherapy setting to problem solve and discuss ways to enhance your child’s communication skills.

A formal evaluation is not required for these sessions. These are parent-only sessions. Prices for 30 or 45 minute treatment sessions apply. The therapist may recommend you seek out a formal speech-language pathology evaluation based on these sessions.
